  1. Which Poker sites are Mac compatible?
Visit the list of Mac poker rooms to see which poker sites are currently Mac compatible. There are a few more that aren’t listed because they’re either smaller skins of those sites or just not worth visiting. You can follow the Mac poker news section for updates on the poker sites that are planning to release Mac software.
  2. Do I need virtual PC?
Overall i’d say no. The only poker room that virtual PC is good for is PokerStars. And they’re planning to release a Mac version soon anyway. All of the other poker rooms run very slow on it. I have a full article written about Virtual PC for Poker if you’re really interested.
  3. What are the Mac OS X system requirements for Poker?
Poker rooms generally take up less then 10mb of space and aren’t very graphics intensive, so for the most part you shouldn’t have any problems running a Mac poker room. I suggest stacking up on ram (at least 512mb’s) to make sure you don’t experience any lag.
  4. Won’t Mac poker sites be smaller?
No, it doesn’t matter what computer you’re on. When you play online poker you’re logged onto the poker sites server, which consists of both Mac and PC players.
  5. Mac vs. PC for poker?
If you’re a Mac lover then you’re going to enjoy playing poker on your Mac. A PC user will enjoy playing on his PC. They both have their benefits and downsides. With macs you can play poker without having to worry about viruses or key loggers. This is especially important with poker, because when money is involved you need to be extra safe. Also the Mac versions of poker sites generally run better then the PC version. The main benefit of playing on a PC is because you have access to software that can improve your game, like poker tracker. Unfortunately Macs don’t have anything that can compare yet. PCs also have access to a lot more poker sites, but most of the sites that aren’t Mac compatible aren’t worth playing at anyway.
  6. What poker games can I play online?
When referring to online poker, you’re talking about real money, player vs. player games. All of the online poker rooms run games like holdem, 7 card stud, and Omaha. Tournaments are always running around the clock at stakes ranging from $5 to $500+, and you can play single table tournaments non stop as they fill up.
  7. How do I play casino games on my Mac
I’ve devoted a section of the site to Mac casinos It’s just like playing vegas casino games, but without any hassle or extra expenses. And because online casinos are cheaper to maintain, the jackpots and payouts are much higher!
  8. Is there a Mac Party Poker Version?
Yes, party poker released two Mac versions earlier this year. One is an application that downloads to your computer and the other is an online version that can be played without requiring a download. Read about both of the on the Party Poker review (note: PartyPoker doesn’t accept American players.)
  9. Does PokerStars have Mac software?
PokerStars is in the process of developing a Mac poker version. They don’t have a release date yet, but it should be out sometime in mid 2007.
  10. What was the first Mac poker site?
The very first Mac compatible poker site was Pokerroom.com (whom are no longer reputable). They opened up in 1999. PokerRoom uses java software to display its program online with your web browser. Today PokerRoom has lost popularity due to their decision to no longer accept players from the USA.
  11. What’s the best Mac poker room?
It’s safe to say that Full Tilt Poker is currently the best Mac poker site. They truely do have the best poker software for Macs, they’re constantly innovating in software and promotions, and they have the widest range of games available online.
  12. Which Mac poker sites accept US players?
You can see which Mac sites accepting US players from the american flag symbol on the sidebar. Currently, Full Tilt Poker is the only reputable Mac site that accepts American players. There’s a few US poker sites, like Bodog Poker and PokerStars, working to release Mac software in 2007.
