PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, UB, and AbsolutePoker have all been shut down on April 15th, 2011 – at least for US players. The future of these rooms is still uncertain, especially for non-US players, but as it stands, non-US players can still join, log-in, and play poker there.
US players will be allowed to cashout their money in due time, but to everyones peace of mind, the money will be safe, just on a hold for now. These poker rooms might also stop offering real-money games and concentrate on play money only – again, for US players only as it stands.
That said, we believe our players should continue to enjoy their games, enjoy online poker, and doing so in a secure and entertaining manner, which is why we have spent a good amount of time to research the available US friendly, Mac compabitle poker rooms – along with some non-US poker room too, in case that is your preference.
