Table selection is a huge aspect of poker. Bigger then most people think. Most online poker rooms display table statistics in the lobby, like average players and players seeing the flop, which makes finding a good table a lot easier.

At low to mid limit poker tables you should look for tables with the highest average pot and the most players per flop. That’s always a good sign that there are some wild players at the table giving good action.

At higher limits, bad players are harder to come by. Open up a few tables at your limit and really scope out the action. See if you can find a player on tilt, or some below average players who are just asking to spew their money off to you.
