Patrick Antonius is a model, he is a tennis coach, but most importantly is one of the best high stakes cash game poker players out there in live games and online as well. That is why Full Tilt Poker as recently signed Patrick to Team Full Tilt after being a free agent in this online poker network for a month. Patrick was currently associated with the European online site and after his contract was up with them he was then one of the best poker players without a sponsorship. That’s when Full Tilt came and signed him to their team.

Not only is Patrick joining a site that is considered to be the best in the business of online poker, but he is also joining a team that has some of best names in poker also signed. They include the likes of Phil Ivey, Chris “Jesus” Ferguson, John Juanda, Mike “The Mouth” Matusow, Allen Cunningham, Gus Hansen and many more.

The announcement of Patrick Antonius signing with Full Tilt was made public on Sunday June 1st at a press conference during the beginning days of the World Series of Poker. Full Tilt were made happy with the signing just days later when Patrick made the final table of the $10,000 World Championship Pot limit Omaha and went on finishing in 7th place earning him over $124,000. Predictions are that Patrick found a great home with Full Tilt Poker and will produce many more great tournament finishes.

    I’m amazed that Patrik is just now getting sponsored by somebody. He’s certainly one of my favorite poker players. I’m hoping to see him win something at the World Series of Poker this year.
