At the start of this years World Series of Poker Jeffrey Pollack made an announcement that had everyone standing out of their seats applauding and whistling for joy. Why was this happening? Because it was announced that all World Series of Poker bracelet winners from this year and past dating back to the 1970 will be granted “Diamond” status within Harrah’s Total Reward Loyalty program.

It is said that past bracelet winners and this years bracelet winners will only be able to enjoy this status until March of 2009. Diamond status for players will allow them to enjoy free show tickets, priority service at Harrah’s restuarants and hotel front desks and many other great amenities Harrah’s has to offer. It is not said though whether this program will continue for all future World Series of Poker bracelet winners but if this year goes smooth and according to plan, I see no reason why it would not.

The World Series of Poker commissioner Jeffrey Pollack went on saying “The World Series of Poker bracelet is the most coveted prize in gaming and we want every bracelet holder to know how important they are to our company and this gesture is an important step in that direction.”
