Three Poker Players Combining To Write A Series Of Books

poker-books.jpgDimat Enterprises has announced this week that they have signed three well-known poker players to write a series of poker books that are focused on No-Limit tournament strategy.

Some of the well-known poker players that are involved are Eric Lynch, Jon Turner, and Jon Van Fleet, who together have more than 200 wins, 1,000 final tables and cashes of more than $6 million the last few years playing in both live and online poker tournaments. Those three players will be the ones writing the first two books of the series.

Eric Lynch, who is better known as Rizen, is one of the top players online and in live tournaments. The results that he has had speak for themselves as he has seven cashes in at the World Series of Poker in the last two years, including finishing in second and third.

In 2006 is when he had is largest live cash when he finished 26th in the Main Event to take home a cash prize of $494,000. He has an impressive online record also with more than 50 wins, 300 final tables and more than $1.5 million in cashes.

This isn’t the first book that Lynch as helped write. He teamed up with Matt Hilger to help write No-Limit Hold’em Tournament Strategy: Expert Strategies for Live and Online Play. The book is scheduled to be release in fall of 2008.

Jon Van Fleet, who is also known Apestyles, started playing poker professionally in 2004 after graduating from college. He rapidly moved up the ranks of online poker world and has become one of the top ten Internet players in the world according to InternetPokerRatings.com.

Van Fleet has earned close to $2 million in online poker cashes, including more than 350 final tables and has 70 wins. The biggest cash win he has had to date is $135,000 for a second-place finish in the PokerStars Sunday Million.

Jon Turner, who is better known as Pearl Jammer, is a well-known online poker player even though he got his start playing live games in Raleigh, North Carolina and then later on in Las Vegas.

Turner is consistently ranked in the top ten players online and over the last few years, he has earned a notable online resume with more than 100 wins, 600 final tables and has cashed in on almost $2 million.

Turner’s biggest online cash win also came from the PokerStars Sunday Million when he took home $100,000 for finishing in second place.

All three player’s tournament knowledge will be combined for the Dimat Enterprises series, which will analyze real hands that are played by the authors to demonstrate their thought processes and the strategies they use to attain their success. The books are scheduled to be released in the spring and fall of 2008.
