Party Poker recently released a new software version for Macs. The instant-play option has an enhanced Quick Seat feature that makes it easy for players to find a table and start playing. The client allows easy uploads of personalized, modern avatars. It has improved table filters that can help find a game faster than ever before.
The new lobby comes with tabs that make browsing easy and if players register for a tournament, they will receive email reminders. The software can be used with Safari 5.0, Chrome, Firefox 3.6+ and Internet Explorer 7+, giving players internet browser access to most of the promotions and tournaments that were previously only available in the downloadable version.

Summer Superstar
One such promotion currently running with Party Poker is called Summer Superstar. This promotion offers members the chance to earn a share of the $5,000 prize pool and a package to play in the WPT. To enter the promotion players have to participate in tournaments and cash games, allowing them to earn PartyPoints (the site’s comp points).
The points collected daily go towards meeting the requirements to win a seat to one of the freerolls hosted by the site. One PartyPoint will earn entry to one of the $1,000 Summer Superstar Bronze freerolls; ten PartyPoints to the Silver level freerolls priced at $1,500; and twenty-five PartyPoints to the $2,500 Gold freerolls. All freerolls take place daily – the Bronze event at 14:00, Silver at 15:00 and Gold at 16:00.
Players who make it to the Superstars Gold tournament will also get entries to the Bronze and Silver events. Those who qualify for the Superstars Silver event will get to play in the Bronze tournament too. To make the most of the promotion, players should aim to enter as many freerolls as they can by earning PartyPoints.
To get started with the promotion, players who already have an account at the site must opt-in from the promotions page on Party Poker. Those who haven’t yet registered with the online poker room can do so by visiting the site. The Summer Superstars promotion ends on August 19th.

How to enter leaderboard tournaments at Party Poker
Party Poker has a leaderboard for each of the three Summer Superstar events. If a player makes an in-the-money finish in a freeroll, they both win a prize and earn special points that push them up the leaderboard. The player at the top spot on the leaderboard for the Summer Superstars $5,000 Bronze tournament will get to play in the WPT National Series with an entry worth $2,250. The winner of the Silver Summer Superstars leaderboard will get a seat valued at $5,500 to the WPT National Series. The player at the top of the leaderboard for the $25,000 Summer Superstars Gold event will win a $13,000 WPT Main Event Package.
Players can check their position on the leaderboard by signing-in to their account at Party Poker. Those who place between 2 and 250 on the three leaderboards will each get a share of the prize pool set for the respective tournaments. The payouts for each tournament will be dependent on their individual schedules.

Party Poker Additional Benefits
VIP players will get additional benefits when they enter the promotion. Party Poker has created a system that allows these players to increase winnings based on their position in the VIP program.
• Semi-Pro players have to meet a 6,000 point target to reach a 1,000 point slab
• Professionals have to get 9,000 to hit a 2,000 mark
• World Class players have to make 15,000 to get to 2,000
• Star players have to earn 25,000 to make it to 5,000
• Superstars have to reach 42,000 to get 8,000
• Global Superstars have to accumulate 65,000 to reach 11,000
Party Poker is offering all VIPs the chance to play in another promotion, Ultimate Superstars Race, as part of Summer Superstars. VIPs simply need to opt-in through the ‘Account’ section after logging in to the site.
Party Poker Bankroll Booster
Another promotion currently available on Party Poker is Bankroll Booster. This promotion gives players the opportunity to get a share of $5,000 every week on a Sunday. There are four ways to get to the finale:
1. Make a deposit at Party Poker with the bonus code BOOSTER to earn a free seat to play in an upcoming Bankroll Booster tournament.
2. Earn 5 points in the week before a tournament – this will help to pick up a seat to a Bankroll Booster.
3. Play in the daily 1-point qualifiers – the top twenty-five players will earn a spot in a Bankroll Booster.
4. For players new to wagering with real money, Party Poker has created free daily qualifiers. Players who make it to the top 50 spots get an entry to a Bankroll Booster event. This offer is open for a maximum of 30 days after a player makes their first deposit at the online poker room.
